Exclamation My driver window wont go up!!! Help!

Hi,

93 4runner 4 4door SR5

I just tried to roll up my window after running out and nothing...I checked the fuses and everything looked good...I pulled out the master switch and cleaned the contacts...nothing. I live at an apartment complex so I need to get the window rolled up and its already past 10 pm. Anybody know how to get the window up?

Thanks

check to make sure the wires in the boot running from the firewall to the door are good, and the plug there isnt loose.

My car has this issue, where the window will randomly quit working and its because one of the clips on that plug finally snapped off so every once in awhile my windows quit working and i just have to push on that plug a little and its fine for another 3-4 weeks.

I ended up pulling the pannel and I am getting power to the motor when I roll up and down the switch. I took the motor off and it only goes down and does nothing when I apply power for it to roll up. I am guessing the motor is dead since I am sending it power and its doing nothing. If it was dead would it still work in only one direction?

I am planning on trying to pick one up from yotayard and trying it out. It does not look like the motors are serviceable...New one are quite pricey
