Odd thunk

Coming back from the Meet n Greet last night the truck "thunked" a couple of times, like hitting a rough edge in the pavement.

My first thought is it's the transmission yet all the shifting and rpm sounds were usual.

I have yet to crawl under it and look but before I do, anyone have any suggestions on what I might want to check?

It did it again today, only one time, and at the start of the trip. No other times.

Over 50 years of quality products.

was it just while you were driving or like stop n go? if it was stop n go then thats normal somewhat...... just the gears engaging in your rear end. but if it was just while you were driving down the road then i dunno

Yeah, that's not much info. The last unidentified noise in my truck stumped a handful of Toyota Technicians, and then disappeared on its own (knock on wood). If it persists, just get it on a lift and do a dry park test. That's all I got. May the force be with you

Yeah, you know, in this crazy fast paced, workaday world, we don't always have time to stop and untangle the homeless people from our axles and drivelines!

Holy shit... this conversation has gone to wrong place. Not to mention there truly were two large spots of blood over the snow at Carnage with bloody foot prints all around. I guess there was small pieces of skin also, um someone really telling the truth...
