Shift code help

I am in need of some help with trying to figure out what to do about fixing some codes. The 96 4runner is pulling a PO770 and a PO773. It say's it is some kind of Shift Silnoid E. So I guess my question is what is this and how do I go about fixing it?

Thanks

Kevin

The check for the 770 code requires testing the shift solenoid itself, which requires dropping the pan and removing the solenoid.

The inspection for the 773 code is measuring resistance at the ECM.

Emailed you the FSM procedures for both...
