Busted welder

I took my welder out finally to work on my tire carrier but as soon as I started a bead it seemed like there was no gas coming out. The best I can explain what happened is it wasn't making the sound that bacon does when its being cooked which is usually what it sounds like. I will post some pics soon. Does anyone think it is just the gun or the whole welder.

What kind of welder? Out of gas, or was the tank pretty cold?

i know if someone spins my regulator about 1/4 turn it drops the pressure way down and i notice it right away. what gas are you using and what psi do you have it set at? and what kind of welder.. pop the side open and take a look to see if the hose is disconnected from the gun cable or something like that. if you do need to pick up a new gun they are anywhere from 100-250 depending on the welder. but most aftermarket gun cables are alot nicer than the ones that come with the welders

It is a miller sidekick. It is a brand new bottle and there is a good chance that it was really cold. Its has been in the garage but i didnt check it.
