trans throttle valve cable for 3.4L

My 3.4L that I swaped in my 85 has got a problem. The truck shifts fine through the gears but when it gets warm goes into rev. hard. So it goes like this. I will be driving around for awhile then park it for a min. of two. When I come back and go into rev. it slams into gear. So I don't know if it is the trans throttle valve cable being mis-adjusted or what could be the cause. All the drive lines are tight so I know that is not the problem. I know my trans oil is a little over full. Do you guys know how to adjust the trans throttle cable?

Thanks

Kevin
