Got the 33's

So I got a set of 50% 33x12.5 radial tsl's for $60 I thought was a great deal so I took'em. Mounted them and threw them on. Looks real good just got to test them out offroad. I'll post pics of the truck when I get them.

There more square. The shop that balanced it didn't say anything about it. Good to know though

Nice find! Damn... I got my set of tires for $100, and I thought that was a steal! Same size, too.

Sounds good. When I have a body lift, our trucks will be very similar. First gen taco extended cab, suspension lift, body lift, 33x12.5 tires, rear locker, and rock sliders. That's where I'm at now, less the body lift.

Except I plan for a clearanced bed and a good rear bumper in the near future. And if I happen over any bigger tires that I can still fit with the body lift, I will get those too.

Yeah I did regear, but only for my TRD axle. I just went up to 4.30:1. And it's decent for 33s. 4.56 would be better, but it gets me around just fine.

The lower shock mounts are mounted facing the front of the truck. The rear crossmember sits slightly behind the axle. So they kind of lean back over top of the axle. It's not a setup I've ever seen before, but it rides nice and flexes great.

I was thinking the same thing, are you talking about sidewalls?

Bias plies and even a couple radials are known for flat-spotting if they sit in one place too long...ie feels like you're rolling on square tires.

Not sidewall profile.

Yeah I was looking for a couple of months and then that one popped up on craigslist. Originally he wanted $75 for it and he didn't have any pics so when I talked to him he said he would even go lower he just wanted to get rid of it so I offered $60 and he said sure...I was pretty stocked. So now I just need a spare and im not wanting to pay more then $15. I'll keep an eye out for ya though.
