Kelly Flats! May 18, 2007

Molly and I were invited to join the Mountaineers 4x4 club on their workday to open Kelly Flats.

I ran the Chutes with minor body damage (way too close to losing the glass!) and the DS mirror (I forgot to tuck it in, and nobody *coughMollycough* reminded me)... another one for the list of "ran it without breaking anything significant, don't need to run it again" LOL

Actually, I think the crawler box would have made the difference just itself. To keep the truck from stalling, I was having to get on it pretty good which was making me bounce off. Reasearch has been done, just need to get my expense check from the Budapest trip so I can clear space on the credit card

To your other point, I'm thinking with 35's, I would have walked right up it though ...

Nice big boulder there. Did you break that front light on your bumper with that forward lurch?

No - no broken lights. The turn signals are pretty well protected by the mounting bars that go right along the side, and they're mounted in a rubber collar, so they "give" a bit.
