Need a T100 dipstick conversion tap

Does anyone have a T100 drill guide for a 3.4? To borrow or buy!

No drill guide but if you're drilling a 3.4 there is a boss in the block casting for the dipstick.

Fwiw, i just cut my dipstick. About 1/8" below the full mark and it still bottoms out on the housing

It's a 2003 so there's no knock-out plug. By Boss I assume that's the same thing. :shrug:

No a boss is a pace in the the casting meant to drill out a hole for the dipstick. They may save costs in later model years by not drilling the hole then have to cap it when they don't make the truck model that needs it anymore. However it would cost them to change the tooling used to make the casting in order to eliminate the boss so it will still be there since it costs nothing.
