Angry FJ gets a lift and tires

Installed a Revtek lift today with PeterParks (sorry, no pics allowed of the install)...then got a call my tires were in. Went to the tire shop and waited, waited, waited......anyway, she is finally back home.

Ride is fine....Doesn't feel too different to me. Little stiffer, but not TOO stiff.

Dunno when Peter will do his web-magic.

The fj looks good just needs some black steelies and i think it would complete the look. I give it two thumbs up.

Andy, maybe yer angry because you dump all kindas money into yer mall cruiser and expect it to perform offroad. Looks like the the taco doesn`t even get trail time either.

all a waste unless you go SAS..................

Dont worry, Chris....this is just temporary....OME WILL go on; after I test out the spacers. And BTW, the armor is only 50% done so far.

Lets see, troll....I paid $950 for the tires....and I can sell the old ones for around 450ish. So that leaves 500.....I paid nothing for the lift....just my time. I spent quite a few weekends at Bentup working WITH aj to design and build the sliders, and bumpers....

and besides...I can afford it....Thanks to the union, I get excellent wages and benifits.

Dont worry, son....you will see pics of it offroad...when I feel like it. Not that I care what you see, but just for your trolling info.

AJ and Dan (Ruffstuff) took a LOT of measurments yesterday....And Dan took my stock skidplates with him! His plan was to have something in autocad format last night, and off to the steel yard for shaping this week. then it will be finalized on the truck, and once again re-autocad'ed....

Interior cage is on hold for the time being.

So what, the first can spend the dollars going up the dead ends trying just to be first. I say test and retest, figure this truck out before you simply throw a ton of money at it.......Being first is not neccessarily being best.......

Waiting for someone else to do all the work has its advantages. We were not sure what would happen with the 05 computer when we took its wheel sensors away. Now we know that it's going to need some computer relays and stuff to trick it into thinking it has the right information. We were lucky and found a guy that knows how to do this. Otherwise we would have a big expensive 30mph paper weight..lol

But then again being the first is kinda exciting also!
