Primm 250

went to vegas for weekend then caught the primm race with the McMillens. it was windy i mean windy. dust wasnt bad because of the wind so i guess thats a good thing.
mark got 4 flats in his class one car, but still got 6th place (we think)
bebo had trans issues 50 miles out. they think it burnt the converter up trying to lug it through threw the washes in high gear. wont know for sure untill all the data is gathered. they have a new sytem i got to check though and it shows 5 cars on the course at a time but shows their speed and position over a topo map, supper cool thing to see. course was really fast in sections, mark was able to cruise at 98-99mph in alot of sections. anyways heres some pics. im still getting used to my new camera

marks clas 1

shredded tire i thought i took a pic of the wheel wich was smashed in on inside

when i left pistol pete had won but we will find out for sure later
local phx guy!!

another phx local in one of the coolest class 8 trucks

i took lots of pics, but im sure you get the point.
they had sand drags going on same time as desert race and they had a run away top fueler before race started. my hats off to the driver for not hitting anybody, or any vehicles, but it didnt do so good on the desert course!

Al just stopped by my house a few minutes ago and was giving me the breakdown. Have two friends who run Class 1 buggies (1500 in botd) and they both finished for the first time! JaggedX also won the side by side class again (good friends) so everyone had a great weekend! I need to start making some more races, but I'm busy breaking my junk instead...

Fuck yeah!!! I wish I could have made it but no one asked for help and unless I have pit or media access at BITD it's not much fun for me at the spectator areas.

Did you go to Treebar? That is where the real fun is!!!

it was pretty cool, tons of eye candy, wind sucked, but it kept the dust from lingering. seems like now there is a contest to see who has the nicest "prerunner" CST's was pretty awesome.

attention to detail was awesome

didnt hit tree barr( i dont think, it was pretty blury) but the whole place (whiskey petes and buffalo bills) was a mad house, a ton of rowdy racers taking over the place. had a blast

Nice truck, looks like a little bit of work went into it. The chrome bumper panels are interesting, would have never thought to do it that way.
