Trails like Ruler make me want my 42's all that much more. I was denied on the last obstical because of my boat anchor! I am sure I could have gotten through, but it was getting hot and I didn't want to make "Pops" wait on me with no A/C. Thanks for the pics Steve.

There was 7 to start, but lost one very early because of a melted ARB hose on a hot exhaust. We ran Firebird and the big lifted Jimmy tore his steering box off the frame. He limped through the rest of Firebird and Chris (BuckeyeT) followed him out. Jim, his Pops, and myself ran Ruler. Talanor rode with me for that and parked his rig at the entrance. Got done and found Chris and the Jimmy stuck on the side of a hill with no steering. We rigged togather some straps to get him back to Watson and off he went. The box was literally tore through the frame. I noticed the frame was ripped before we started and recommended he not run it, but he thought it would be fine. We were out of there by 1pm. We were thinking of running something else, but after sitting in the heat fixing a broke chevy, we decided to call it a day. Nothing too exciting.

I've got a nice vid of Jim's Dad on ruler - but it's 350megs - just need to split it up some, haven't edited video before so it'll be a few days.. There are a few of Nate on ruler in my link below..

Rear ARB hose got against exhaust and melted. We thought he could make it thru Firebird with the front locker but he did not want to.

No problem Tim. No sense in making yourself uncomfortable when its supposed to be relaxing. Catch you on the next trip. We did have fun with the Jimmy guy though, so we forgot all about your mishap
