so take your pick on breakage....
I broke the diff when I was open before I even broke a cv.
Spiders are what failed - so I figure remove the spiders and the diff won't be the weak link - cv's will....I'd rather change them than a diff.
Well seems now that factory gears are the weak link...wheeler jake is running Yukons and hasn't had a diff failure. He also has been running aftermarket stub assemblies with good luck. Napa sells a complete assy for right around 100 with a lifetime warranty. - seemd like yukons and those might work better. Not really wanting to spend any on the IFS shit but no where near ready to swap parts/money wise.

I was just referring to your front diff/CV issues of late, not necessarily the locker being the culprite.

Yeah...I count myself VERY lucky! I've only torn the CV boots under "normal" wear/tear and have not had any issues with a broken CV let alone the front div and we pretty much have the same setup and run the same trails....
