Mud Springs (Pipeline Trail)

Went out with a few of the Mesa 4-wheelers club this past weekend to Mud Springs (pipeline trail) up near Sunflower mine area.

It was the hardest trail I've run so far, but had no problems keeping up with the jeep guys. It was a great run for me - adding a little notch of confidence of what me and my truck are capable of.

Here are a couple pics -

Panties: Not the best thing on earth, but next to it.

Well hellooo Mister Fancypants. I've got news for you pal, you ain't leading but two things right now: Jack and shit... and Jack just left town.

Lots of great spots. I have ridden shotgun on the trail, you almost need it for ballast.

Its a fun trail, very tippy in quite a few places.

lol – thanks. Well - it was the impression that I had got from reading and seeing some of the trails that a lot of you seem to do. Beat your bitch and all that.. I was definitely apprehensive about this trail. Beings my truck is my DD, and only source of transportation … in the end, I guess I should just shut up and wheel and just turn around if I don’t feel comfortable doing something.

Hey mine is a daily driver and an old one at that, with no warranty and I have the same concerns that if I break something important I won't be able to get to work the next day, but the truck will take a lot more than you think. (I hope )

I enjoy seeing the pics from the 'beat your bitch' guys...whether on the trails or pics of the one ton axles they are welding to their vehicles. The majority of our members don't wheel those trails or wheel much at all. So it's not surprising that most of the pics posted will be from the guys that wheel every weekend. One of these days I still hope to go see some of the mines you've been showing us.
