Damn Sy, sweet wheeling for sure. Never been there but I've been meaning to go. Looks like a bunch of technical crawling, is it? And Bill's buggy is the definition of BLING. That HID light strip thing he has is probably worth more than my whole rig

It's sparkle.....

It was a blast, and was very technical stuff. No life threatening type obstacles just sheetmetal and under carriage threatening stuff. lots of potential for more tough trails too.

The Desert bar is out in the middle of no where is only open on weekends and holidays from noon til dusk. they have no electricity but got solar panels to support the live band. the trails are all on the way to the bar.

Definately goin back.

I assembled half of that God-forsaken buggy (Sparkle), and yes I am extremely jealous! I worked on that thing for several days and couldn't even look at my junk everytime I came home...it is PIMP! I always tell him he has more money in lights than I do in both of my buggies! (It actually is disgustingly close!)

Out at the dunes we heard someone in a camp next to us say, "did you see that buggy thing at the hill with the ridiculous HID strip lights? It was brighter than the rails!" That rig is BAD for sure, I'll admit I'm jealous. Hell, I'll take Bill's bus and trailer!

their some HI LED. don't go as far as a HID but they are damn bright. Friday night when we were doin a night run, he turned them on and his HID head lights and it was like daylight in front of his buggy.

They work great for speeds up to about 60 MPH. they don't shine out far enough for higher speeds.
