White Tanks 3/15/08

Several of us ran a couple trails at the White Tanks on Saturday. It was a great group and I had a blast. Here is my photobucket album for all of the pics and I've included a couple on here. I know there were lots of pics taken, unfortunately I forgot my memory stick so was only able to take a few on my cameras internal drive??? So post up what you have, and see you on the trail again soon! I also have a little bit of video I'll edit from the waterfall on Oreo.

Ivan and "Elmo"

Uriel on some crazy-ass climb Skii led us up...

Towards the top of "said" climb...

Uriel "moving rocks"

Beverage time...

Skii on Oreo

And another...

Me sizing it up (and closing my eyes)...

So anyway, that's about all the pics I have, but I know there are more out there..............

Landslide, Oreo, Ruler, some crazy ass ditch (have no idea what the name was) with guaranteed body damage, Uriel tried really hard to roll there...

I had a blast! ...and I also learned how much metal I can grind off Elmo by trying to follow Uriel's line !!!

That last obstacle on Ruler was a bitch, and you F@#%er$ are all at the top listening to the carnage and laughing. I can hear the conversation now: You gonna go spot him? Nope, he needs to learn on his own. But I hear a lot of crunching and grinding! Yeah, but the training wheels have to come off sometime!!! OK, we'll leave him down there for fifteen minutes, unless we hear screams of agony or an explosion...

It was an educational day to say the least...

Good trail. Everyone drove pretty well. That oreo fall was harder then it looked. It took a couple of tries to find the right lines. I had to bump my vehicle pretty hard to get it up there.

It definitely was nice running with all toyotas

Was a good time, good to meet those I hadn't met yet, and wheel with everyone. Wanted to try that fall on oreo but my rig was not 100% and if something went wrong in there it would've been bad.

Nate, I assume you got home alright? I never heard from you. I'da cam and got you with the horse trailer

I did stop in goodyear to look at a ported saginaw box for hydro assist on my junk that I'll be adding soon.

I think I have one from the hill on the other side. The video from there though does no justice to that fall. I will load to my webshots page later.

X2 on wheeling with Toys. No whining and really no breakage! Thought I had Oreo and then I got to the hard part! It was amazing watching Nate go up and now I think I know the line. Or not, oh well another day. Or

Yeah I know. That is why I originally didn't think about running it. But, that is what friends are for right..."Come on man, you can do it!!" It did feel pretty tippy there at one point for sure.

I kept telling you "not to do it" (under my breath), but you probably just heard the part I said out loud? No seriously, I though you'd get up there, you were long enough and wide enough that I didn't think rolling would be an issue! I want to see some pics of that "beast" in there though!

No issues getting home other than having to stop three times to refill that bastard. Plus, every other person that passed me on the freeway was yelling and point at my ass saying I was leaking something. I told them that was my own business, but they insisted on pointing it out
I am trying to get Shawn from GLO on the phone so I can order a new cover, but he wont answer. Would like to have something soon sice I will need to drive it when my 06 is in the shop.
Uriel, did you get any video?

Nate, that's a 14 Bolt, not a 60 correct? I talked to GLO last week and the 14 bolts were on back order. They may have them now, not sure, he said a couple of weeks when I talked to him. If it's a 60, disregard!
