Latest from Built II Beat - Porn Taco

Chandlers rig -
Here are the specs -
3 link - Using 2" 7075-T6 (tierod 1.75")
3.0 Ballistic Joints
18" 2.5 Saws
Full PSC hydro
Front pushed way forward - WB will be at 114
Ride hieght 21.5" to bottom of frame with 4.5" of up travel with 40's - although he only plans on running 38's at this time.
Axles
Front D44 chromo shafts, 300m joints -Not his dream axle but he got it for a good deal and it will get him by for a while untill he builds a 14 bolt

rear - 14 bolt

I did about 60 hours of solid modeling to get the numbers where I wanted them should work very well.
If anyone is interested I can post the technical numbers on the 3-link design.

Let the truck porn begin -

Ifs - gone

He bought Rad Ryans built 44 and diamond -
Chandler wanted this killer truss -

we had to rotate the knuckles -

Had to raise the altinator and motor mount to clear the upper link at full stuff.
New altinator bracket -

Had to change the thermostat housing as well

Some frame plating -

Lower link mount

Upper -

sorry shitty cell pic

[

full stuff

Just about full droop - 1.5" to go.

North west off road header

all pics can be seen here
http://s98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...ndler/?start=0

We still have quite a bit to do up front (plating, gussets, etc..)
then redoing sliders
pulling the bed cutting the frame behinded the cab
full exo (truggy style)
radiator in the rear
4 link rear
shooting for azrocks.

Very nice! I was a little confused with the engine cage / track bar mount construction when it was 1/2 way done but it makes sense now

Looks good Bob, will that baby engine fit through that small opening should removal be required? Pretty screwed if an engine upgrade is in the future.

Looking good man. Very nice. I was wondering about that panhard bar too until I figured you were going to have to run full hydro.

Motor should go either direction if needed. Probably the easiest out the bottom. The top we made removable to work on it.

Pimp'n aint easy, or so they say. Nice work there Bob. I like the creativity. Why do all that work on a 44 and not just drop in a 60? Or has that already been beaten to death?

Had to clearance the inside of the frame.
Did frame plates. Tore it apart and got all the axle link mounts
cut down capped and burned in.
Finnished up some tubes that hadn't been burned in yet untill we got clearances worked out and got some work done on the frame side panhard mount.
