Celica Seats

hey guy picked up some celica seats today for cheap. was wondering if anyone local has done this swap before like...

and if anyone would be interested in giving me a hand. i dont have a welder. i have the seats and my stock bench seat out of my reg cab tacoma. i also have money for anyone willing to lend a couple hours and help. thx in advance guys!!

haha ya that works now i just need to learn how to weld a lot better! i can spot weld but who cant.... i know those are nice welders though and a 110v would be perfect but i still have to buy a locker for my rear. if it was cheaper i would pick it up in a second.

Talk to me......How much cheaper??? Great welder to learn with. The auto function takes care of pretty much any guess work.

well a got a few hundred dollars left in my budget im really wanting to get a lockrite then ill be done for a while. but ive been wanting to get a welder so i can bob my bed and some other things it would come in handy for. just bought a body lift too to clear my 33s a little better. you know anyone who has a lockrite locker they would sell? i have cash but i really want a locker i hate 3 wheel drive! what kinda deal you wanna make?

That welder gets you a locker 10x better than the lockrite

haha oh ya... what weld my spider gears in the rear?! its my dd that wouldnt be to smart. well i am still interested in the welder but i got my seats fabbed in tonight i will get some pics up of everything tomorrow after i get off. celica seats are amazing.. especially the gt ones!

Update

ok here is what has been dont to the new taco since i got it.

here is how it started..

got some 33 12.5 15 bfg at kos with some gay wheels those had to go and a 3" spacer up front....

got some black 15x10 steelies and got em mounted up...

got some celica seats... got em welded in and fabbed up and the carpet cleaned and put back in...

1" body lift and trimmed the back fender. next gonna bob the bed about 12"...

The seats are 100 times more comfortable than the stock bench seat. best mod so far. just need a 1" add a leaf or lift for the rear and im good to go.
