Dana 44 Teardown Tech

Just figured that you guys might get a kick out of this. There is a little tech mixed in there somewhere.

Sure, Go ahead and send that '60 right on over to my house. I'll have my mechanics take a look at it. But beware they "MAY" accidently install it under my truck for testing purposes...

It's amazing what you can get for a little ice cream now adays.

Wow, that's a great idea. I bet it really speeds up the teardown process

Planning ahead.. taking that side apart only took about 3 hours not including the "Cleanup" time. Hoping that it speeds up in the future... Just wait till I get the new housing under there and the welder out.

Nice.... I have my daughters help me all the time with my truck also. Ronni especially likes the welding part. Great pics man!

Wow, It looks like I need to go back and fix some spelling and grammer..... That's what happens when you are trying to rush to get it done by the time they wake up from nap...

The kids love to help out with just about anything. My dad was always getting me to help him with household projects. I think that's where I got alot of my mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills. I really want to instill those qualities into my kids. Especially when they are this young. Then they can build off of it for the rest of their lives.

I haven't shown them welding just yet. Probably in the next few weeks.
