Don't get excited at all, it's only 10%. But I do get 20% off of clothes.

I like the idea of the Discount on Tools over Clothes, they also need to switch the Percents, LOL!

Your discount on tools sucks. I was all happy when Steph said she was getting a job there. More tools but then she said what the discount was.

it won't take that long.......what you do is skip all the reading shit and go right to the quize thingy at the end........the quize is all common sense crap and it is mutiple choice.....plus you can take it as many times as you need to get 100% and they are always the same questions just in a different order and it tells you what question you got wrong.....so you can use the elimination method for stuff you don't know........I completed "38 hours" of training in 45 min LOL

all this only applies if the store training is the same as the auto center training which I believe it is.

yep home depot is the same way.... i did a ton of training in about 4 hours. lol i did my forklift certs in about 30 minutes.... but i used to drive all the machines before. you can coast thru it no problems. as long as you have an idea about the stuff you sell you should be fine

The hardest part of my job now is learning the cash register. The training tests are so different than the actual register. I know I'm going to fark it up sooner or later.

I got a new job! I had applied at a vet clinic back in March and they called for an interview finally. I'm going to stop Sears Saturday and start at the vet clinic Tuesday.

I'll be taking care of the animals being boarded there. It's 25 hours a week and in vacation season it will be almost full time.
