question about ratios.

So looking at lockers, the descriptions will say "for 3.73 and down ratio" or "for 3.92 and up ratio." my question is gear ratios go lower as the number gets bigger. example: 5:29 is lower gear than 4:56. so for somebody running 4:88 gears you would choose the locker for 3.73 and down, right? or am I looking at this backwards? thanks!

well talking to East Coast Gear he said that he needs a measurement of the ring gear teeth and that it could be the 3:73 and down application.

call Randy's Ring and Pinion. if anything, they will know which one you need and you can call east coast gear and tell them. i think Rand'y has a price match. just my $0.02.
