I've just started getting a very noticeable vibration that you can feel when stopped and in gear. If you give it a little gas it goes away and it seems to completely go away if the A/C compressor is not on. Could the idler pulley be the culprit? I've heard of them making noises when the bearings are going out but to my knowledge not vibrations.
If it comes when the AC is on and goes away when the compressor is not running that would tend to eliminate an idler pulley since they are always spinning whether or not the AC compressor is running. If anything it would point at the compressor.
