Here's one thread... discussing that spring swap... http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum...=clutch+spring

Type "Clutch Spring" in the search box and start reading... that's what I just did... Found this in only a few minutes... There may be more... I don't remember if there was an actual write up... Think it was just added to an existing Clutch Squeaking complaint...

Don't be afraid to search Google too...

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search

The first article is probably the oldest and best for fixing the problem (every 2 years or so...).

Here's one helpful thread: http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum...ad.php?t=29814

and a write-up: http://homepage.mac.com/danny/clutch.html

and another: http://www.lieblweb.com/tacoma/Mecha...tchBushing.htm

For future use, try simple searches like Clutch Bushing and it will take you to 99% of the squeaky clutch threads.

So what exactly did you search for that came up with absolutley nothing???

Garage
I recently replaced my clutch pedal bushings. The write-up is in the knowledge base. One recomendation, replace all the bushings in the pedal assembly. I replaced them all since I had it apart. All the bushing from the stealership where only $12.00. It's fairly easy, it took me about 45 minutes to do the job. Good Luck

thanks guys, also the clutch pedal has been getting harder to push in but im not too sure if it is because the spring has worn in to the bracket and causing it to bind or its the rod that slides into the master cylinder is not going in straight has any one had this problem? the master cylinder is new also.

Best fix is to yank that f*@#ing spring and whatever is left of that bushing right on out. Don't look back. Subject is beyond a dead horse. Makes me wonder why I even bothered to respond......oh yeah I'm dying for Posts.
