Dusy/Ershim this Thus-Sun

who's going??

Mike, what time do you want to leave from your place on Thus morning or are you still heading up Wed nite?

Kirk...are we meeting you around 1-2 at the parking lot near the trailhead at Courtright or in Shaver near the gas station?

Crawler's in, skid/crossmember is on...ready to go!!

I am leaving my place in Concord Thursday morning at 8AM. Probably head out highway 4 since going south on 680 will make me angry.

The Arizona guys are meeting us at 2PM at the paved staging area at the south end of Courtright Reservoir. I suppose they could meet us in town, but meeting at the staging area was the official plan.

I think Marlin and his guys are going to meet us somewhere around Dusy Meadows sometime Friday morning.

There are two other groups that I know of hitting the trail the same time we are. Between them are about six rigs. I think we have 10 in our group, so we will have plenty of company this trip!

Later,

You should take him to task on that liberal tag. One could say that they are taking liberties using that moniker. he he he
Make him admit to really being a Nazi in effect and actual fact.

So, who all is going?
I haven't heard from Edgar in quite some time so I don't know if he's going or not.

you
me
2- AZ
?

680's only slow for a short section that time of the morning...usually
once you get to 580 it's no problem.

We Az. peeps are going to Marlins thurs am, and I thought we were gonna go up with them to the trail and be there at 2. If they are not going till Friday, then we'll see you at 2 pm -ish thurs with out Marlin. It'll be Shane and myself and my passengers.

Truck specs:2001 D-cab Taco with solid axle conversion, front and rear 65" wide Diamond axles, Tundra 8 inch rear w/ARB, H.P. front w/ARB 30 spline Long's, full floating rear from FROR and blah blah blah, IE lots-a cool stuff.

I haven't seen AJ in awhile. Was he supposed to get something to me? I won't be passing through Sacramento anytime soon, so if it's a critical thing then we should figure out what's going on before tomorrow!

No worries, not critical, he can ship it when its ready. Thanks. We are headed out tomorrow for Barstow, then to Marlins and the trail thurs.

See ya Thursday! I'm in the almost final stages of getting my shit together. Just got a nice 5 day cooler, and a little electric cooler for inside the truck.

Now just have to figure out that same ol' nagging question.... what am I forgetting?

Nah, lets not chance it, I can wait till he sends it to me, now that I've got hydro assist, I'm not as worried about breaking the ghetto fab steering shaft.
Thanks very much for the offer, I just don't wanna inconvenience anyone.
Thanks again!
