it all depends on what you want to do with the truck and your ultimate goals with the truck. if you are looking for a very nice everyday ride with a bit of lift and some offroad presence you can spend lots of money right off the bat or go a less expensive route. my first lift was an Old Man Emu lift coils and struts in the front, their 2.5" leaf springs in the rear and some shocks. it was cool and worked everyday on the road and once a month on the trails. it's all gone now for a solid axle swap. that's why I say "try" to determine the ultimate goal before you spend money over and over again. but, yeah, the latest 4wd Toyota magazine has a great article. good luck!
