Snow-Trac Pickup

Thought this was interesting...
Scanned it out of my Amateur Radio (QST) magazine. Hams covered communications for a Nome to Golovin snowmobile race.

man i emailed the Mattracks people to see how much a set would cost for my truck and they do not stop calling!!! I would love to get some but dont live in the right climate

i havent been able to pick up their calls.. they always call me when im in class on wednesdays and they dont answer when i call back

I've heard they go for $3k-$4k. With all that surface area, they suck on pavement. Great in the sand and snow though.

Saw these at my local track last night...how about running the 1/4 mile in 8 seconds @ 150MPH.......On a SNOWMOBILE

I know a couple fleet companies that bought into these for theie service trucks (1 ton ford chevy and dodges), they are really hard on steering components, they weigh a bunch!!
