You can fit them on the rims for sure and if you've got 5-6" of lift they'll even fit on your truck.

The "approved" rim width range for 33x12.5-15 is 8.5" to 11". You can physically do it but the manufacturer may not stand behind them if you have problems. (Since you used them outside their approved application.) Realistically you shouldn't have any serious problems. They will balloon a little more and might wear in the center a little faster than if you used a 9" or 10" wide rim.

15x8 is what most use, especially if your gonna be doing any kind of offroading, where you air down. I run 35 12.50's on my 15x8's..... never had any problems and the tires are wearing evenly.

As long as you have the correct backspacing, you'll be fine.

An 8" rim is perfect for a 12.50 tire IMO. It keeps rubbing down and holds beads nice when airing down.

I run 33x12.5 mt/r's on a 15x8 " wheel and have had no prob's at all. I air down to 10 on trails and have never lost a bead.
