I have a 1985 Toyota Extra Cab that I bought pre-built.
I've owned it for about four years now and am finally digging into more of the mechanical aspects.
I'm a long time computer guy who found Rock Crawling as a hobby and as a way to get out from in front of a pane of glass. I recently had to replace the ring and pinion gears in my rear axle and learned the term "third member", that should give you an idea of just how much I really have to learn.
I've competed in the GroundHog Rock Crawl outside of Bend, Oregon a couple of times over the last three years.
I figured this would be a good place to read a whole lot more and start learning.
