Factory Service Manuals (FSM's)

Due to the overwhelming number of inquiries I have decided to post our response here:

There is no need to purchase a Factory Service Manual from us or any other dealer. You can order a FSM for any model directly from Toyota and not pay any mark-up by simply calling 1-800-622-2033. Prices vary by model & year, which is why I didn't include any.

By the time we ship it it's just to expensive for the consumer. Yeah, it doesn't make us any money, but it's the right thing to do.

That's a stand-up thing to do sir. Thanks for the heads up. "Hey, what's that thing on the passenger side fender? Does it make your truck FASTER? Can you put a deer whistle in front of it?" he he he.
Did you get rid of the CJ yet?

Well Matt, I haven't hit a deer yet, so I guess it must work! As for the CJ, it's been sitting in the garage waiting for you thaw out (it was 71 in Dallas today), but we need to talk talk soon... I've started cutting the Taco for the SAS so we need to "consumate" the deal. Email me at valkyrie610@yahoo.com

How much do you think it would cost for the repair manual through that number?

The dealer charges $105 i think.

05 Taco - SAC'd HPD44 - F.O.A. Coilovers - Armored and Locked.
99 Cummins - Workin towards 1,000lbs Torque
05 GSXR 750 - 20th Anniversary - My Coffin

I'm Brown And I will Rule The World One Day.

My guess would be just that, a guess. It's a toll-free number, why not call? Then ask your dealer to price out the part numbers (for both volumes) and find out for sure?

Looks like the website (http://fsm.afraid.org/) has been permanently removed according to DesertTRD. Where can you buy one or what is the toll free number you guys are referring to. I need to find out the torque specs on the engine/tranny mount bolts. Thanks.

Yes, use the toll-free number as posted at the beginning. Each trans combination has different specs, so you're better off getting the FSM.

Thanks for that link.

Is there a single file in that huge list that is the index or anything?

Once again this has proven to be a great resource when I need to work on something and I'm away from home w/o my hard copy FSM.
