tire sizing

i am a little confused on this sizing format LT265/75/16. Does anyone out there have an easy explanation? i know this might sound stupid , but oh well. thanks!

95.5 3.4L ex. cab 4x4, h&r progressives, bilsteins all around, front bumper, headache rack & sliders. 32' cooper stt's

The 265 is the tire width, 75 is the aspect ratio, and r16 is rim size. Here is a chart, http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/asset...rain_ta_kd.pdf
