Cool 60,000 Mile Maintenance

Hi All,
My name is Ruben and I am new to this forum.

I bought a "previously owned" 2001 Taco last year and the beast runs great. The previous owner added a TRD super charger so it kinda feels like my old 95 Mitsu Eclipse... almost. It's my first truck ever, and I'm loving it.

Anyway, I'm just about to hit the 60,000 mile mark, and I'm wondering if you can advise me on maintenance I should have done on it. I would like to learn how to do the "simple" things that a non-mechanic can perform.

Any suggestions.

change fluids (oil, tranny, diff), check plugs, wires, air filter, water pump, timing belt. Get a Haynes or a Chiltons (I prefer Haynes, but both have a little that the other does not) from Kragen or Autozone. Everything should be listed there.

go to toyota.com. On the bottom of the website you'll see "owners". That will guide you to the scheduled maint for your vehicle. I know most of you who bought a used taco won't have the manual. That's a great place to start.
