engine swap WAT 5/12

Ok, it's for real this time. I now either have or have ordered every piece I need with the exception of a clutch cancel switch(if anyone has one or knows how to bypass this let me know) I will be starting friday May 12th and working until it's finished, hopefully by sunday. I live in the woodlands just north of houston.

Please let me know if you are available to help out.
I am needing a crane b/c the person who was supposed to help out originally has disappeared

Sorry Steve, I will be driving da boat that weekend.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Anyone have an engine crane???? The chain hoist would work but I don't have anything overhead that I trust enough to do that. Lindsay can attest to that!

Cool.Harold, is there anyway you can pull a part# off of your MAF sensor for me. I'm still tyring to find one for mine. Toyota has a hell of an interchange for that particular sensor, so i'm trying to find which vehicles I can pull it from

You know I'm not using the factory one anyway. That MAF sensor is the same for camry, lexus, mr2 .......................it's a pretty long list. I went junk yard shopping tues and they wanted 100 for one out of an avalon that had been under water for what looked like days. I had to literally dig the mud out from the intake to see if it was even the same. It was but I'm not paying that much for that

I used a bobby pin on the '84 but i'm ghetto like that. You just gotta make damn sure it's in neutral or the clutch is depressed.

Yes sir! Hey what type of welding wire do I need to pick up? Not sure if I'll have my BL on in time though so I might wait.

lol, I'm planning on RB pucks with upgraded hardware for the cab. All the BL problems that I see start with PA lifts.
