I need some seatcovers for my wife's brand new 05 CR-V. My taco could use them too, but once you have so many stains you care a lot less, ya know? Anyway, she would like front and rear covers, which would cost near $500 all together I know quite a few of you guys have them in your trucks. Are they worth it?
I love mine. They're comfy, they look good, and they clean up well with wetsuit wash. I've even got grease stains out of mine. As you noticed, they are expensive though.
I had a set of Wet Okoles and they are okay but way too expensive, plus they don't like cigarettes. If you are looking for some serious comfort, cool in the summer, warm in the winter, long wearing, and water resistance, then try genuine sheepskin. I found a set on the net for $118. They are the BOMB!
just buy them directly from wet okole. unless you want a basic universal cover, they are all usually made as they are ordered.
i had some in my old truck, i loved them. i recommend them if you got the cash and want some great protection from whatever you can throw at it. its true wet okoles dont like cigarettes, but then again nobody but smokers do. i never had any problems with mine. they fit excellent, no shifting or extra material getting in the way. always comfortable to sit on and IMO alot better than sitting on a dead sheep
I have a set, and they are certainly nice. Keep your eye out on eBay, they come up every now and then. And like everyone says, they hold up well, so even used they are nice. I got mine 3 months old, for half the price. Frankly, I wouldn't know the difference. They have a cool built in storage pocket too! The only bad thing is you do get pretty sweaty when it's hot. But i love 'em.
I have tried then and did not like it one bit. Something about sitting on a hairy seat feels wierd. Especially when wearing shorts.
