So after getting used to the "buggy" type rig my samurai was, the full body 4Runner just wasn't what I wanted. So I finally convinced the boss to let me move on to what I wanted. I sold the 4Runner to Evan, and went and bought a Toyota truggy a friend of mine has had for years. He is building a Rockwell buggy and needed the cash to finish it up. It isn't pretty but I hope to make it look a little bit better
Toyota truggy based off of a 90s cab

4 link rear w/ 2.0 Fox air shock

Dual cases twin sticked w/ 4.7 in rear case

I will update with more pics later on. Maybe I can hang on to this one for awhile.
Here's a driveway picture this weekend. Haven't been able to work on it much between being sick and the cold. Fenders are sanded, I think I'm going to paint it satin black when it's warm enough.
That fits you man! Is the driver side slider bent up near the center of the door? If you need simple lights, I got some Rigid Industry flood lights but they sell lots, as do other companies. The reason I say that brand is cause it's all I have and they are stupid easy to install. Plug and play. I did it and didn't burn my truck down. I think you'll like that ride though. Paint it for sure with something that can touch up easy.
wish we could get together and test it out. damn jobs and you not being so available on sundays. Might need to take them out one night. since i have fireballs up front again as dad says.
First outing didn't go so well. Truck did fine all day but one of the steering hoses wasn't routed very good. It got into the alternator pulley on a climb and I lost all fluid. Steering is full hydro so I had nothing. We had quite the time getting it to the trailer. Big thanks to Austin, Marc, and everyone who helped out. That hose had been on for 5 years, my friend I got it from converted it at the same time I was building my zuk, and it let go on me on the first trip out. Just my luck! I will get some hoses made up this week and hopefully take it out again this coming weekend.
Can't wait to see how it turns out once you are done with the build.
