What's happenin guys? My names Dave and this is my first post. (I feel like I should light a candle or something :) IM VERY EXCITED ABOUT MY TRUCK and I wanted to post some information for you about my build. Its been going on for 8 years now. If you're on DR you may be familiar with it. It started as an 86 toyota, short course truck I bought in 96 to play with in college. I did volunteer pit support for Ivan Stewart (PPI) from age 13-20. That is what started my love for off-road racing. After owning it 4 years I totalled it out in Glamis. Starting with a new frame and original cab I sent it to Glenn Robles @ G&R Fabrication-Chula Vista (NOT GEISER) in 2001 to rebuild it. Glenn had it for 2 years and about $25k later I pulled it. His work was alright. Did some work at my house for a few years and decided after I had my daughter to find a solid turnkey shop to finish the build. After a lot of referrals and research, RicherRacing in Oceanside, CA has really kicked ass. We have completely rebuilt the entire front half of the truck and beefed up the entire project. Jonny has done an incredible job. Here are a few of the many pics I have. For the record...After 8 years on this project and dealing with several different trades I highly recommend Richer Racing for any type of off-road fabrication need. His work is clean, he's fast and his attention to detail and customer service is unmatched. Enjoy!!!
