Anybody have pictures of this kit on their truck?
It's the most rediculous kit i've seen if you would want some decent travel out of your suspension.
I'm saving up for the Long Travel Kit right now....I think it's around $2,500 for just the front suspension.

The 2500. is PLUS the shocks, springs, and Fiberglass.. The kit works well, so weel in fact you find yourself going faster than you should sometimes..

Im happy with my kit, except just like aor4x4 said, you can definetly get over your head......really quick. my advice, build a cage before you get the kit.

Those pics are fine! So your running 32's on there? In the 2nd pic you had your fender flares off, did you have a lot of rubbing when the suspension was fully compressed? Also if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the front susp.?
Thanks for all the info!

Imagine around $4500 without the install for the full front end. Then add $1000 or so for a rear end that can keep pace with the front. If your rig isn't balanced, you'll tear the weaker end apart, or hurt the truck running hard. Also, you'll likely wad the thing when the lesser rear end tosses you into the weeds. The rear end is the key. The front is pretty straight forward. You are running stock, no?? I'd ease myself into something like long travel, and figure if I really need it. Learn what it can do mildly modified first. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Everyone has the Total Chaos LT kit in this photo
I do agree, you need to set the rear up to handle the front, if your planning on going fast. During the Locos Mocos NV 2005 run, I came close to rollong my rig once and went off the road sevaral times. At times I was travelling over 85 mph on wet muddy dirt roads, hit a few deep water puddles that sent me off into the bushes, fortunately there were no boulders in my way.

I agree with others that installing an LT kit is opening a con of worms. With that said though, if you follow through you will have a truck that will be very capable. We've been running their kits on our trucks for years and they are awesome. Our red Tacoma is an example of a fully-built truck with thousands invested and our '89 4Runner is a good example of building an LT rig that performs on the cheap.
Here's a recent pic of the red Taco

And here's the 4Runner

You'll have to invest in a pair of fiberglass fenders to make sure the tires don't case the fenders. Just removing the flare won't help.
