Help with bed...

Does anyone know how many bolts hold the bed of a 98 taco to the frame?

i believe its 6 if im not mistaken...

my '01 was only four, but not exactly sure about the 98's

According to the Roger Brown body lift info, there are 8. I'm assuming that if there is a spot for a body mount, there is a bolt holding the bed to the frame.

The pickup has 8 mounts on the bed (4 on each side), two near the front of the bed and two near the rear.

Mine was 6...that's all I know... and that's for a '97

I think it is 6. the BL has an extra bolt that goes to a xmember that just rests on the frame for now. ill go count later...

its six.... 2 up by the cab.... 2 behind the wheelwell and 2 that are right around where the bumper bolts on...

lol well it's 4, 6, or 8 depending on who you ask.
Probably want to go count them instead....

but the 2 rear-most mounts got cut off

so now i only have 4 :p

yep its 6. i had my bed off this weekend, mine is a 98
