Leaking Injector ?

My # 4 piston injector started leaking this morning on my way home from work. What would cause this and do injectors crack or leak all of a sudden like this? If you are looking at it from underneath the vehicle while it's running you can count to one between drips. gotta get this fixed pronto. It's costing me an extra 4 bucks a day (a gallon).

Any-one got a spare injector that I could borrow so I could pull this one and have it checked for cracks or buy a new one?

Oh it's a 22re.

if you can get to it easily, i would pull it and check the o-ring(s) on it. i would almost guess that it's either a ring, or the line going into it

Not really all that uncommon for injectors to leak. So definetely is possible

Got it!!! but I had to call in to work :rolleyes: what a bummer guess I'll have to spend time with the wife and catch up on some sleep.

must have torn it when I put it all together a month ago. I went to the parts store and just bought one of those O-ring assortment kit's and it didn't have the right o-ring so I had to go back and talk to one of the parts people who promptly directed me to the 0-ring kit that I had just purchased 10 minutes earlier. I even told him that I bought one and that it didn't have the right size, before he walked me over to them. I hate Pepboys!!!
