Saweet...except for the buildings being set on fire....

We got that storm too...it was pretty cool. At first they were saying that there was some severe rotation, so the tornado sirens went off for half the night. I just watched the radar and sat outside watching the lightning. I love lightning, but the thing that sux is that soon after the storm passed, my phone started ringing. I left at 3am, and just got home at around 10pm tonight. Oh well, more over time to put into my money pit FJ40.

It seems like Zanesville and up around Orrville get WAY flooded when it rains. Both of those places almost always have roads closed due to flooding when I go there. There are a few places here in Whitehall that flood....sometimes I'll go out and pull people out for the fun of it.

my rain guage at home said 4-1/4". i think this is the worst i've ever seen here. it did make for an interesting drive :) there were several drowned out cars scattered along the way. only one place that i didn't get a pic of had me worried. i'd guess about 3 feet and moving about 15 mph...i was behind a ford dually, and he made it...so you know i had to go through. got the underside of the truck nice and clean in the process. i guess they colsed the main highway shortly after i went through for about an hour. the thing that killed me was that everyone was still driving like ass-hats...no courtesy at all. most didn't even look like they wanted to yield for emergency services.

two firefighters were injured in that fire. i was told lightining hit again while they were inside. don't know their current status.
