Very fun run, must do it again soon. We weren't able to do a run the next day due to some unfortunate tire mishaps. I'll post a few "poser pics" from the next day on our way out. Kevin has quite a few pics as well, but I believe he had a very busy weekend also, so stay tuned for those. Once again thanks Eric for coming along, we have to go out again.

Alright Alright! so I wimped out and gave in to sleep deprevation. I'm Sorry.

Then we woke up on Saturday morn and my Rear pass tire was flat. (Still have to get that fixed by the way, discount was closed).

I won't be able to go until August but I'm definatley up for BML and Empire just getthing to run a trail with you guys was awsome and educational as well

Things I learned:
Go to dirty toy school
Diff armor isn't a bad Idea
You don't have to use the clutch so much
Eric is a great spotter
Get a Locker
Get my bumper out of the dirt
Dogs can't drive.

Well I had a BLAST dispite being up for like 22 hours at the end of the trail. Next time I will not be working nights.

Had a great time camping Dan. We will have to go wheeleing on a Saturday so I get to get some sleep in there somewhere. Maybe that way I won't have a flat when we wake up and we could go run some more trails before having to head back.

Nice pics Kevin. I thought your rig (and your driving skills) did quite well for being open/open. Working through those obstacles open/open is going to make you that much better of a driver when you do get a locker or two. Like I said, I plan on getting up to the cabin for camping/wheeling at least 5 more times before summer is over. You are always welcome.

Maybe next time! I was gonna padslap my brakes but turns out I have a stuck piston so I need a new caliper. Lame sauce, but best not to hit the mountains with lousy brakes. I bet I'll be in Kevin's position next time - open/open and zero experience. :D Looks like fun!

x2! That silty, gravely rock topping sucks and you and your rig cruised most of it. I enjoyed the handicap of an A/T while you guys worked stick over that stuff. Brought back some fond memories of my first rig... if only I could go back... :p

Nice shots. You guys did have some fun with an open runner. You know I was looking at some trail reports and it might be good to give BML another week or 2 so it will for sure be open at the top. But your call just let me know if anyone is going up.

I just talked to my neighbor (Jeep owner) and he is wanting to go up as well, so I may be going this saturday either way. I will probably go again at the begining of August as well (of course not interfering with the BV trip). As always anyone is welcome and encouraged to come along.

Well I just remembered that my dog is having surgery on Friday and It would be best if I was around this weekend for anything she needs. I know sounds like a lame excuse but with no kids that is our kid. So I will wait to go. I have never run slaughterhouse so I don't know what it is like. But it gets run quite often on this board so I am sure someone will go this weekend. Make sure to take pics. I want to see.
