I just read the article. It really seems that the State Land Trust isn't sure what they want to do. In two days the permit fees go way up, and now they're talking about closing more areas? I'm sending in my permit application today, but I don't even know what it will be good for in 3 months.

I think we're at the point now where the said fucktards are getting all the attention and these closures are trying to stop them. We're large enough of a community to go vigilanty on these folks. No exceptions!

It's bullshit, out here in Buckeye ONE field being plowed in dry conditions puts off more dust than a weeks worth of off-roading.

Maybe I can sort of see some regulation of motorbikes and ATVs around the metro area, but wheeling in the Tanks puts off as much dust as some dude blowing his lawn. Gimme a break

Unfortunately, off-roaders are much easier to target than Joe Lawnblower or the farmers. Perception = reality for many people. :(
