Oil draining tips & tricks ???

Another Noob question.
I didn't get to change my oil after last weekend cuz i got massive poison oak.
Anyway.....
1) What is the best type of container to drain into?
2) What do you do with the oil? I want to recycle of course.
3) Is synthetic oil recyclable like dino oil?

I read some stuff on the Fram Sure Drain system....any big negatives? or other types of systems?

I have the Fram Sure Drain on all four of my vehicles. Not real fast but definitely handy, and much cleaner than taking a oil drain plug out each time.

I prefer the blitz oil drain container

- Larger diameter container that has a closeable neck for easy draining

I also keep a 5 gallon bucket with lid that I can use to hold several changes if I am to lazy to drop off at a recycle center

You should be able to find a local place to drop off the oil - look up your zip at earth911.org
But basically you can drop off motor oil (synth/dino), as well as hydraulic & gear oil at your local walmarts, autozones etc....
