Labor Day Weekend reports and pics

Figured I'd start a thread as I'm sure quite a few people did various things.

Here's my pics from the weekend. None of the Whiplash race. We went on a cruise Friday night. Then Saturday went on another cruise. Met up with Carlos and headed for the backside of the race track and watched the first 3 laps of the race. Then headed over to the pits and hung out with Carlos and others. Sunday headed to the track to watch the bikes and atvs, and then ended up at the pits. Went back to our place and on another cruise. Great weekend, but TONS of rain at our place in Pinedale.

A buddy brought his Explorer up that he recently finished and just did a few mods too. Mainly built to cruise some mild trails with the family. It's a 92 Explorer with a 5.0L with some mods, AOD, NP203/NP205 doubler, D60 front with 35-spline chromos, flanges and locked, D70 rear locked, and 41" Michelins on 20" double internal beadlocks.

WTF? How did he roll - using the snow as an RTI ramp? (Or did he just pull an Eric?):lmao:

There's a hairpin turn where he flopped it. He was going to try and make it in one turn, so he drove up on the snow thinking that it was soft enough that it would compress but it didn't and you see the end result.

I was about 5 vehicles behind and saw the whole thing. Kind of a "oh crap" moment.
