Over the past couple of days the Park was pounded by the winds and waters from Hurricane Gustav. Numerous trees are down in sight of the office, so undoubtedly, many trails will be blocked. We need all the manpower and chainsaws we can muster. We ask that you show-up at 8AM this Saturday and Sunday (September 6 and 7); we’ll feed you lunch.
We have already begun clean-up, and can use you on Friday as well.
Remember, work days count towards your Park Volunteer Team (PVT) status. Even if you’re not shooting for PVT status, each work day nets you two “no fee” Park access days.
