From my research, it is better to mount to the frame. First is obviously for strength, but also if you have to drop the trans or cases you don't have to unbolt your front suspension. There are pros and cons to both, but that is how I made my decision. Also, it may depend on your axle width. It worked well for me going to the frame since I am full width. I think as long as you don't try to rewrite that book on 3link suspensions you will be ok. Do what works and leave the creative design work to those with big $$ and tools.

Well, becasue of the layout, the upper link will need to be mounted to a Xmember, but how you do that is where the fab work starts.

Mine is off the frame. Used a ballistic bracket. Just make sure you plate the frame where you put the bracket.

Chris, how long is your upper link? What is you upper link separation at the axle?
