What are ya looking to spend? It seems 3rd gen 4runners are pretty cheap compared to tacomas. You wanting to stick with toyota? I'll keep my eye out.

Yep, 'Runners are much cheaper than ext. cab Tacos. You can find a decent deal on reg. cabs, though.

why is it that the 4runners are sitting right now? fuel economy?

I think it's mostly because a bunch of women bought the 4runners and are ready for something different while the guys who bought tacomas typically want to keep them. Just a supply and demand thing. Plenty of 4runners so the price is low. There's virtually no difference in fuel economy between the two. Personally, If I was picking a DD/weekend rig I would not get another 4runner. Too much headache worrying about body panels and glass. I"d recommend an reg cab tacoma unless you're needing more room.

Yep yep. If you're looking for a weekend warrior, hit up that reg. cab. Seen them do some sweet stuff. I think my wheelbase on the ext. cab is a little long for my liking. Just my two cents though.

 Cory, your selling the taco already? You just bought that thing. Are you selling the corvette to? Damn bro, keep changing your mind like that and your going to grow tits. My buddy Chad JUST bought a reg cab taco. He would have totally jumped on yours if it was a month ago. He bought a red reg cab. ???

Ya, I'm selling it... hate it too. I really love that rig. I decided that if I keep it, its just going to be too light duty for me. I'm going to get a Dodge 3/4 cummins quad cab short box. And your comment about changing my mind... I swear I might be worse. Tell Chad to sell his and buy mine... way better. But, if ya know anyone thats lookin, its a really sweet rig that I hate to see go, but I'll make them a deal.

Sounds like a good truck. I'm needing a decent tow rig myself. I just haven't been able to talk the wife into spending more money.
