View Full Version : SouthEastern Region Tellico Run

Alright, guys and gals. Kyle, Rick, and I have been talking, and the SouthEast as a region is the biggest piece of meat on the plate right now. The TN Chapter is hosting the upcoming Tellico run, but we're going to consider this an SE event (not that it matters on paper).
We would like to have some t-shirts made up. My question is this: IF we can make this happen, who wants one and what size do you need? I won't know a price until tomorrow, but I can assure you that we are aiming to make them as cheap as possible. Based on the feedback I get, I'll go ahead and order a sized quantity accordingly. If I can't get a good feel for sizes needed, we'll just have them made and mailed out the week after the run.
For all of those from the SouthEast, keep an eye on the new (reopened) forum located at http://forums.delphiforums.com/SoutheastTTORA/start Sorry, guys, for now it's delphi, but that will change soon. There are going to be a lot of rides and events planned in the upcoming months and this will be the best way for you to find out how you can get out to exercise your rig and see what TTORA is all about!
Edit: Here are pics of the t-shirt. Price is $15 each:

Hey Daniel put me down for one large.
Things are looking good for the run, seem to have alot of active involvement so far. I am really lookin forward for the meet and great portion of the run. As of now we have a few from GA coming out.
Lets keep these threads at the top...

I'll put you down for one, Rick. I should have a design coming from the other Rick here in the next few minutes. Everything is shaping up pretty well with the ride, and I think it'll be great opportunity to get together and put some faces with names. Is Jack still thinking about coming?

You get a swift kick to the nuggets if that medium doesn't fit. Hell, you'll get one regardless.

I think a good swift kick to the nuggets would do him some good anyways. Why hold back?

It honestly doesn't matter. I'm just gonna wipe my ass with it and toss it under your seat anyway.
I never know what'll fit. Some mediums fit fine, others make me feel like an emo hipster retard. Some larges swallow me whole. It's a crap shoot.

LOL With Daniel taking his doors off, I'm sure after we go through that mudhole after coming off the top of slickrock on 8, that shirt will probably be the cleanest thing under his seat.

I refuse to go through the mudhole! MUD IS BAD!!! I don't care if I have to back down Slickrock, there's got to be another way...... Didn't you say there was a bypass around the pit now?
Personally I'll be using my t-shirt as a new seat cover :D You'll join the dark side with the doors sooner or later. It's sOOOOO much nicer

Yeah, I'm pretty sure mine will be off as well. I just picked up some pins to make some quick disconnects the other day. Last time I was up there there was the start of a bypass trail. It was a little tight, but I'd rather take my chances with the off-camber trail through the trees then the damn mud.

We didn't go thru it after we ran Slickrock last time. I can't remember how we left from there, though. I'll ask the guys on yotatech...

You can come off Slick Rock and take a right, but that's like a 4 mile loop to get out. I just can't stand to wait that long between carnage :) If you take a left it's only about 1/4 mile, but there's that truck eating mud hole. There was an attempt at a bypass starting last time I was up there though, so we'll see.

i went up 8 into the hole this past trip, it was literally a 6ft drop, it was dry underneath luckily, but it would be a extremely difficult coming the other way, from slick rock, i think u can take 7 to 4 and that will bring you back at the bottom of 8, oh yeah put me down for medium
GOT COPE?

Also I wouldnt cry if we didnt get these until after the event. Take our time and make a good logo, no rush IMO. Or do we already have a logo?

7 is peckerwood and has a hell of a ledge near the top of it. I don't know that I'm quite ready to venture down that. You have to go through the mudhole to get to 7. The bypass that I'm thinking is there now though cuts down to 7.

I would like to have some t-shirts made up. I'm really under the gun because it's so last minute, but here's what we have: The front will be the TTORA url (www.ttora.com) and the back will have a description of the run (SouthEastern TTORA Tellico Run June 17-19, 2005) with an SE logo beneath. Tellico, NC will be highlighted.
My question is this: IF we can make this happen, who wants one and what size do you need? Me and Nash were out ther last spring for a little day trip and we'd never been on 8 before. Worst mistake I ever made. That trail is looooooooooong and not very challenging

Not to sure now... there was talk of that weekend being Father's day so if he does come he is just going to strap his little girl to the fuel tank on the buggy and go for it.

haha I'm in pretty good shape right now. No broken parts to replace. I sheered off another one of the bolts holding in the lower a-arms. Mostly just preventive/pre-wheeling maintenance. I'll be out there Friday morning. I think Duby is taking the day off to head down early, as well. I'm ready to ride :D
