I have the OME 882s which gave me less than 3 in. of lift and my 285's fit. I have had them mounted on both stock and aftermarket rims with diff. backspacing. They will rub at full lock no matter what (frame if using stock rims)(frame a little and pinch weld with aftermarkets). You have to grind down the upper a-arm if you are using stock rims because the tire is too close. Its just alot of tire to fit with 3 in. of lift, but if you offroad mildly, they will work.

Revtek says you can fit that size w/ their lift...I would imagine it would be the same w/ the cornfed

On OE rims with 1/4" wheel spacers, yes You will still rub the spindle towers at the upper ball joint when aired down but not aired up on the steet.

best with 8" rims and 4.0" backspacing, do the pinchweld mod and trim your bumper.

Revtec assumes aftermarket rims with less backspacing, not OE 7s.

I have a set of 16X8 American racing wheels with 285/75R16 Muds on them if you are interested for sale. I ran them with 3" of lift. You will rub a little on the drivers frame and catch the pinch weld every once in a while. I am only asking 500$ for the rims and tires. email avc8130@njit.edu if interested!

you could always just get a 2"BL...that's waht i'm gonna get...don't have the money for a 5" drop down bracket lift...so i have the toytec 3" spacers and planing on get the RB 2" BL

I had 285's with 4" of lift (16x8 4"bs) and was able to get them to rub on occasion. I would imagine more frequent rubbing with 3". You can also expect a loss in power and fuel economy.

I have exactly that set-up and only rub the frame during full steering and the rear mud flaps once(heavy load).

I have the 3.5" spacers, and the stock Yota 16" wheels, and i have 285x75x16, only rub lock to lock on frame just a little, and the inner bolt on the fender flare in the rear when really tweaked out.

I havnt been able to feel any power loss though as some have said, feels the same to me.

3.5" spacers on a '04 with ADD?? that's nuts. you can kiss your CVs and upper ball joints good by in short order. and then there's the rough ride...

I really hope you have a differential drop kit to help ease that angle. I agree though, those CV's are going to go quickly if that is the amount of lift you are running.

I have PC 4" lift with same tires. Wheels make a difference too. Backspacing and offset. Mine are 3-5/8" BS and I only rubbed at full turn with a little articulation. Pinch weld mod and mud flap removal fixed that.
