Lp 10/19

This morning nate kevin and I decided to do a little exploration near Lake Pleasant. Nate showed me a trial that he found with his BIL but never ran the whole thing. Once we hopped on it I recognized it as Cap'n Crunch. Here's some pics. We went as far as any full bodied rigs could go up that trail. There is a Buggy only notch that we walked up and determined that it was impassable. after that there was a few slabs and a vw sized boulder that would have been a challange too....

all in all a pretty good day
If you can get through the notch, there are several more boulder fields leading to this little gem :cool:

Once we got done on CC, we were in search of another wash to play in. We ended up finding our way down to a pretty bitchin wash that if you head NE you'll hit boulder field after boulder field for probably 5 miles before reaching a road (i think) and if you head toward LP you'll just run into a bunch of trees but it sure was fun until the trail ended. some random pics and then the link ot the whole album

This guy was a ways from his truck when we found him on the trail... he was looking for gold or some kind of metal but he gladly took a ride back to his rig.:D

I especially liked how Kevin made him ride in the back of the truck:lmao: I was watching him get tossed around for 10 minutes. Good for a little humor.
Yeah, the notch at the end of CC is pretty narrow. Def not for a rig with sheetmetal and glass. There is an optional line over the top of that big rock, but even that looks questionable. Getting up the face of the 10' high wall looked doable, it was getting over the top and off the other side.

he asked to ride in the back so i gladly agreed :D thought you guys would get a chuckle out of watching him-i tried to not miss too many rocks on the way out and there were some branches im sure that made their way back to him. all in all good trip wish it would cool off again-but not before i get some sort of windshield

That guy was a little off.... he kept mentioning some dam, and then we'd all 3 tell him that he was way off, but he refused to believe it and was about ready to head back into the wash that you drug him out of in the first place.... tweakers.

Got those coordinates yet kevin?
