Spent the weekend cruising around up in the Sierra. The weather was awesome, but many of the trails are still buried in snow!

The pic below was just below 7000'.

We headed up 80, camped down by the river in the Eagle Lakes/Fordyce area, then headed up to 89, cut across Tahoe, and hit up the Strawberry trailhead off highway 50.

We wanted to take Pack Saddle Pass road to Mormon Emigrant trail and then head home on 88, but the snow would have made it an all day thing.

Well, there's not really much to do a writeup on. It's a cheapie LCD screen, and a really cheapie camera. I was able to fit the LCD on the back of the sun visor by mangling it a bit. The cam lives on the transfer case crossmember. I'm going to add another cam looking at the front diff.

At the deepest spot the river was about 3.5 feet deep. The camera somehow survived being submerged.

It was in the same general area. Being anywhere up in the Sierra is a nice place to be in the summer.

I need to figure out a way to make a living by wheeling. :D

Looks fun man, I lived in South Lake for 11 years and was camping, hiking, wheeling all around the basin every weekend in the summers. I miss it.. I might get some socal guys together and make a trip up there to do some wheeling, camping and visiting. It would be awesome to meet up with you norcal guys.

Let us know when you want to come up and we will try to get a run together.

We sort of have a schedule put together, but things change with the conditions.
