After wheeling AZ and smacking the ARB on every rock and it sticking WAY killing my approach angle......then I kill my foot last month I thought what better way to give me something to do AND better my truck :). so I spent a week wheeling my butt around the garage on a 4 wheeled roller cart and with help from many friends I finished a new/old bumper. it is a bentup bumper that has changed hands 3 times now. I liked the design but wanted more out of it...here it is.
now I just have to wait a month or so before I can test it out :)

That was the plan :) it all fit better in this bumper than in the other one....so much wasted space in the ARB. it is a lot more compact and 1/4" steel, no denting this baby :):)

that is what I felt like rolling around the garage. it took me 3 times as long to do stuff, but damn it was nice to get out and work in the garage :)

the arb did its duty...I have moved onward and upward.
thank god for the plasma cutter. that thing is heavy duty.
see chuck your bumpers live forever....LOL
I already have 2 people asking about it and told them to call bentup :):)

It's doing pretty well, I bent one of my chevy leaf's pretty good and bent up a front driveshaft once. I have like 9 trips I need to put on the site since AZ, just been so damn busy paying off these credit cards from building the truck. I'm hoping to make Rubicon with rear coils and maybe a high pinion front, gonna be there?

Uh, I think he meant for Dean to make another hybrid bumper....for Jason's truck ;)
I too, have a bent up bumper that has "been around the block" One friend bought it, then sold it to another. that friend did a full exo, so I got the bent up bumper from him. I did some modifying much like you did maybe a few more tweaks but you are right! Bent up bumpers live forever! I just need to finish my SAS so I can install the bumper at the same time.
If I put it on now, I think I would have a low rider on my hands with the bumper!LOL Don't have photos of my bumper yet, but the approach angle is going to be awesome.
If you did all that with a tore up/broke foot. Katy bar the door for after you heal up! good work man!!

Yeah that works great! I get home from Florida around 11:15, so I should be home around 12:30.....anytime after that I'm open.

Yeah I'm hoping to get there as soon as I can...now I'm looking at that hurricane and I'm not sure if the flight will be delayed or whatnot.....But I'll be there Saturday for sure.....just not sure what time :D

Where am I? At home, enjoying being off work today, tommorow, the next day and the rest of the week :D I still don't know if I want to move my axle forward, dammit. Maybe we should just put the shock hoops on and I can decide later if I want to move it forward or not :cool:
